Complete guidelines for the National Stamp & Unity Day Design Contest 2025

Theme: "Renewed Hope – Path to Inclusive Prosperity"
Contest Overview

The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) invites all artists, illustrators, students, and creatives to participate in the inaugural National Stamp & Unity Day Design Contest. The contest will produce a limited-edition series of stamps and postcards celebrating Nigeria's unity, culture, and national progress through the lens of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.

Selected entries will be featured in an official launch on October 1, 2025, with winning designs printed as national postal stamps, exhibited, and auctioned.

Design Objective

Your design must creatively interpret one or more of the 8 Presidential Priorities listed below. The objective is to tell a powerful visual story of Nigeria's path toward inclusive prosperity, national pride, and modern transformation.

The 8 Presidential Priorities - Design Interpretation Guide
Your design must creatively interpret one or more of these priorities. Choose themes that resonate with your artistic vision and tell Nigeria's story of renewed hope.

Reforming the Economy to Deliver Sustained Inclusive Growth

  • Growth charts or economic revival symbols

  • Visuals of calm, secure towns and villages

Submission Requirements

  • Valid NIN Registration
  • Original, unpublished artwork only
  • Submit via official contest portal
  • Artwork title + 150-word design explanation

❌ Not Allowed

  • Previously published or exhibited work
  • Copyrighted material or plagiarism
  • Offensive or inappropriate content
  • More than 2 submissions per person
  • Late submissions after deadline

🔒 Intellectual Property Rights

  • • NIPOST retains rights to winning designs for production, promotion, and auction purposes
  • • All other rights remain with the artist unless otherwise agreed
  • • Artists retain credit and attribution for their work
  • • Commercial use rights may be negotiated separately

📝 Submission Guidelines

  • • All submissions must be original work created by the participant
  • • Participants must be able to provide proof of originality if requested
  • • Submissions cannot be withdrawn once the judging process begins
  • • NIPOST reserves the right to disqualify entries that violate guidelines

🏆 Winner Obligations

  • • Winners must be available for media interviews and promotional activities
  • • High-resolution files must be provided for production purposes
  • • Winners may be invited to attend the official launch ceremony
  • • Prize acceptance constitutes permission for promotional use of winner's name and image
